Dear all,
I am developing a Job Shop Scheduling Model based on the example http://amsterdamoptimization.com/models/blog/ft10.gms
The two “NoOverlap” equations make sure that each machine is used by only one job at a time. I was now trying to relax it and allow e.g. two jobs on one machine at the same time (to simulate parallel machines). I added a capacity parameter for the machines and tried to modify the equations.
Though, I couldn’t think of any successful solution. Is it possible to introduce such capacity conditions into that model at all?
Thanks for advices,
René
