Dear all,
I have a model coded in Matlab and GAMS. Matlab calls gams and the connection is done by adding the GAMS directory as a new path in Matlab.
In one of my computers it works perfectly.
However, I did the same procedure in a computer with the same characteristics and I get a “Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error” when Matlab calls GAMS. If I run GAMS separately it works but when it is run from Matlab it gives this error and does not start running.
The machine has Windows 7 and I use GAMS 23.6.5 and Matlab 2011 (tried both releases form 2011).
Do you please havy any suggestion or idea on what it could be? Maybe some missing drivers or runtime components?
The two machines have the same environment and software versions installed. I have also tried to install the new microsoft visual C++ package in the machine where the problem occurs but nothing changes. I have also tried the newer version of GAMS and it still does not work. By the way, both GAMS and Matlab are 64-bit.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Carlo Brancucci

Dear Carlo:
can you please share the code? No necessarily the entire code, but the main part where you code the linkage between the MATLAB and GAMS.
regards
