I have a very CPU intensive and time-consuming linear model running simulations day and night, taking up to three days to solve using cplex. Now, just today, I followed the logging process of a simulation, and after 188041 seconds, it said ‘Removing perturbation’, followed by ‘Scaled dual infeas = …’ and ‘Dual objective = …’, as can be seen in the attached screenshot. From there on, it has been frozen for a very long time, but it’s obvious it’s still calculating, as the Task Manager indicates CPU usage and I cannot open the listing file as it is ‘Currently being written’. However, I do not like the ‘Scaled dual infeas = …’ statement, what does this mean? Is this simulation itself infeasible? Because if so, I should close it and continue with my next simulation… If not: should I just continue to wait?
As I did not have any questions on the content of the model itself, I did not add my code, but if you think it helpful, I can upload it right away!
