MATLAB / GAMS interfacing

Dear friends

After installing MATLAB and GAMS with steps discussed in “MATLAB and GAMS: Interfacing Optimization and Visualization Software” by Michael C. Ferris
i have the following error message :

testinst
error: cannot find gams - please set path appropriately
Error using gams
failed to spawn process.


Error in testinst (line 8)
[Q] = gams(‘testinst’,c,m),

This sounds like you might be installing something quite old or using old or mismatched documentation. Try installing the latest (24.4.1) GAMS software and using the documentation that comes with the system.
