installation process on mac osx leopard// acess to gams problem

I have a problem in accessing to gams on a mac. I have not learned
the usage of terminal yet. I am using gams on my win xp platform. and
it gives out of memory error. Then i tried to install gams on a
powerful mac and made some relaxations on my mathematical model. This
is a new computer. I try to copy the commands on the gams manual. But
it did not work.

Hi,

Make sure that after executing “./osx_x64_64_sfx.exe” you have the
following files in your current directory: gams.zip, gamsinst,
gamsunpack, and gmsunzip. It seems that you are able to run ./
gamsinst. Make also sure you can run gmsunzip. Just type “./gmsunzip -
v”. You should get output starting with

UnZip 5.52 of 28 February 2005, by Info-ZIP. Maintained by C.
Spieler. Send
bug reports using http://www.info-zip.org/zip-bug.html; see README for
details.

If that all works, try to run “./gamsunpack” this will try to
recursively unpack gams.zip and the zip files contained in gams.zip.
See and report what happens if you try to run this command.

thanks a lot. Because its my project about a new article. after
learning unix codes, gams makes great jobs with in few minutes.
