GAMS studio seems to replaces symbols (¤ -> �)

I have a gms script which reads a gdx-file. Within the gdx file I need to read an the following set “¤” within a parameter. This worked well for years using emacs, however, when I use GAMS Studio 1.20.1 the “¤” symbols in the gms script seem to be replaced by completely different symbol, namely “�”. Does anyone have similar experience when using GAMS studio or/and ideas for how to solve it?

I found the solution on GAMS-list:
Tell GAMS Studio to work with ISO-8859-1 (Go to Edit->Encodings->Select Encodings, scroll down to ISO-8859-1 and set the Default flag).

Seems to be working :slight_smile:
