Hello Everyone,
Tryin to create a stackelberg-game with the MPEC-model, the error:
“Error 483: Mapped variables have to appear in the model” occurs
after the solve statement.
what does that mean? Is my model incorrect or is this just a small
error?
Thank you for your help

Jo,
Your note is a little short on details to get a helpful response. I suggest you send or post a link to a small example that shows your problem. This will increase the odds of getting help. Also the process of making the little example often shows me the problem before I even post it.

Thank you for your quick response Mr. Dirkse,
My main problem is, that i don’t know what “mapped variables” means.
To find the problem inside my model is a little bit frustrating,
because GAMS don’t tell me where to search ! Is there a paper with a
listing of all GAMS errors and a short solution/description to every
error ?
Thank you for your help…

Hello everybody,
a solution is found ! As Arne told me the mapping concerns a variable
and the corresponding equation, i forgot to write a shadow variable in
the equation listing.
Thanks again to everybody who reflected about my problem…

I also met this problem and cheked the list and the model, but neither the equation nor the listed variables were omitted, then, I found that using gtap6mcp, I got the error message’mapped variables have to appear in the model’. Instead, with GTAP6cns, it finally ran. I still haven’t figured out the reason. Hope someone would help it. Thanks, my friends!
