which nlp solver should I use to get a global solution

Hi,

I’ve tried BARON and MINOS, but both get local sols. Is there any nlp solver in GAMS with which a global sol can be obtained?

Thanks, but any others? I have only demo or student licence for LINDOGLOBAL solver

Please check

The last colum in the solver/modeltype matrix shows you which solvers are able to solve models to global optimality. Please also review the solver manuals and/or this overview

http://www.gams.com/solvers/solvers.htm

to understand what the guarantee for a global solution is.
