Weibull Distribution function in GAMS

Dear my GAMS friends,

I am going to model the Wind speed in GAMS. Since Weibull Distribution Function (WDF) is the best mathematical tool to represent wind speeds, I need to use a GAMS statement in order to generate wind speeds in my program based on WDF.

Is there Weibull Distribution function in GAMS? If so, how can I use it in my program?

Morteza,

If I search the GAMS User’s Guide for Weibull I find it’s available. Details are in Appendix J. I’m using the latest GAMS distribution, 24.3.1, but I believe 24.2 also contains the Weibull. It’s fairly recent.
