Hi
In my problem, I have a set T consisting 8 terms in it w1, w2,…,w7,w8
I would like to solve the same problem as if this T set has only the term ‘w1’ in it, term ‘w2’ , and so on. But they’ll all be in the same run and then I’ll take the average of those objective function values at the end.
Is that possible? And how?
Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Caglar

Hi Caglar: Having members with the same label in a set is not allowed in GAMS. I’m guessing this isn’t what you really want to do (since it would be using a set for not-using a set), but you would need to clarify a bit on what you want to accomplish, conceptually.
