hi everyone.
I modeling CGE in Economic scope.
I need to add suffix to parameter for part of model.
for example:
parameter
ty income tax rate
and in closure of saving= investment, i need to write:
ty.up = …
ty.l=…
ty.lo =…
this part of model ( closure) is very important for CGE modeling.
i say that i can’t define “ty” as variable.
bat you now parameters can’t accept any suffix .
can any one help me?!

Hi Iman
You probably want to define tx as a variable. If it is a parameter in the model closing rule, it will be fixed (e.g. tx.fx = …), if you choose another closing variable, where you make tx endogenous, you use ty.up, ty.l and ty.lo and fix another variable.
Cheers
