Hi All,

Sorry to bother you again but I am struggling with the Rtmaxv.

I have an error like:

" An equation in the pre-triangular part of the model cannot
be solved because the critical variable has reached ‘Infinity’.
Largest legal value (Rtmaxv) is 1.00E+10

The allowable range can be changed with option:

Rtmaxv=x.xxe+xx"

I wrote in the gams file:

“Option rtmaxv = 1e13 ;”

and it doesn’t recognize the function:S What am I doing wrong?

Hi Ines

This is a solver option so you have to put it in a solver options file.

Read about solver options in the Introduction to the solvers manual (installed with your GAMS system). It tells you have to create options files and how to make sure that the solver uses them.
