Reading data from Excel (.xls)

Hi,

Following is a strange error which I am facing

I define 2 sets I and AI in a sheet and the matrix between I and AI in a different sheet, when I try to read this matrix, I get a “insufficient storage” error

Error screenshot attached

When I define both sets and the matrix in the same sheet, the code runs correctly. Why is this?

Solution Screenshot attached:

Can someone please explain? Any pointers will be helpful. Can I not read data from different sheets?

Hi Ranjand

It is hard to answer your question as you do not provide enough information.

Try to add “trace=3” to your gdxxrw command, so you can see what is going on.

Cheers

Renger
