Range for a Parameter

Hello!

New day, new Problem.

Can I give a Parameter a range and not an explicit value? Is this possible for example just one elemet in th set, so that 0 < x(m0) < 8?

Paul

Hi Paul !,

When you are solving an optimization problem a “parameter” is exactly an entity that has a explicit value, at least during one model solve.

I’m guessing you want to solve the model several times over a range of parameter values ?

If you need an entity whose value is determined by the solver, but want it to be bounded, that should be a variable.

Hope to be helpful !
Regards
Claudio
