question about CGE coding in GAMS - an economics theme

Hello,


When I run the model in GAMS less number of activities and
commodities (such as 5), “exit - solution found” message appears, but when I
run the same model (same equations and same calibration Formulas and the SAM
consistent with 14 activities and commodities) with large number of
activities and commodities (such as 14), “exit - other error” message
appears.

what is the problem?

Hello,



The possible reason is that you are using a student license of GAMS, which allows you to run a model with limited equations. With 14 sectors, the size of your model gets larger than you are most possibly allowed to run the model with student license. If you are running it with a commercial license of GAMS, then you need more information about the error
