When I try to run GAMS from Matlab I am getting the following error:
I am running GAMS 23.7.3 and Matlab 2011a in Windows XP Professional
Version 2002 Service Pack 3.
Error loading the GDX API
Could not load shared library gdxdclib.dll: Windows error
This problem is new. Prior to the most recent windows automatic
update (last night) my code ran fine. I have tried reinstalling GAMS
with no success.
Any solutions?
Thanks,
Tricia
\
Tricia,
That is an interesting problem, especially since it was working before
the update. I suggest (half-seriously) that you reboot, then follow
the steps at
http://support.gams.com/doku.php?id=matlab_and_gams:interfacing_optimization_and_visualization_software_via_the_gdxmrw_utilities#the_initial_tests_don_t_work._what_should_i_do
The additional debugging commands described in the link above may help
you solve the problem. If not, the output will be useful for GAMS
Support.
