Hi,
When executing gams from a .m file, I get the following error:
" “Gams doesn’t get recognized as an internal or external command, program or batch file”.
Though,I added the path of GAMS and call GAMS by the command system(‘gams’).
The strange thing about is that the system did work yesterday after adding gams.dll file to the matlab directory as explained in
“https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!searchin/gamsworld/execute$20from$20matlab$20function/gamsworld/chJ0xNv3ZGQ/LgOBbBLHivoJ”. I don’t have exactly gams.dll but have “gamscal64.dll” etc files and I can’t find my matout.gms file.
When I executed the Matlab file today, the error as explained above returned.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you are using quite an old system there. Anything
based on gams.dll is way out of date and not supported. The current
setup is much easier to get started with.
Relevant detail can be found at
http://support.gams-software.com/doku.php?id=matlab_and_gams:interfacing_optimization_and_visualization_software_via_the_gdxmrw_utilities
if you run into difficulties using the latest GAMS distribution.
