Do you know how show: Elapsed real time of the best MIP solution found!

Hi guys,

I need to report the elapsed real time of the best solution that is
obtained by GAMS (CPLEX solver).
The GAMS reports the elapsed real time just in Ã’oefficients of
thousands, i.e 0, 1000, 2000, 3000, … .
Is there any comments in GAMS(CPLEX) to report me this time?

for example, the following is log file of one instances:

The best solution is 61600.6974, but I don’t know the exact elapsed
real time. It’s between 10847 and 10930 sec.

Allan,

All the solvers report the time used in the solver summary in the .lst
file, as “RESOURCE USAGE”:

RESOURCE USAGE, LIMIT 2.621 1000.000
ITERATION COUNT, LIMIT 10562 2000000000

Also, you can access this in the code via the .resusd attribute:

model rotdk / all /;
solve rotdk min obj us mip;
display rotdk.resusd;

There are some other functions that break the time down in different
ways, but resusd is probably what you want.

Hi Steve,

Thank you very much for your response. But, I want to report the exact
time that GAMS get the best MIP solution. The resusd attribute shows
the total time used by GAMS to solve the model. Sometimes GAMS finds a
solution at a iteration and after that it cannot improve it. I want to
report the time of final improvement not all elapsed time.
I hope you will get my means.
