All Jacobian elements in the row are very small

Hi,

I solve my GAMS model by MPEC solver and 5 infeasible
solution with the following warning.

Does anybody have any idea how to address this warning, or
what this warning means?

Thanks a lot!

I finally solve this problem by assigning suitable starting point of
our problem. Namely I gave propoer .lo values to some nonlinear
variables. Hope this can help other people in the future.

hallo lili

i also have the same problem like you had 2 years ago.

1 error(s): Infeasible row with only small Jacobian elements.

what did you have done to solve this problem?

thx

Hope this can help you!
Recently, I use nlpec solver to solve a bi-level program with complementary constranits. I have ecountered the same problem. I find that there is no non-linear variables in my model and the bound of variables can not be set arbitrarily for some reason. Follows by the option setting below, I got the correat solution

option MPEC = nlpec;
$onecho > nlpec.opt
refType mult
slack positive
initmu 1.0
numsolves 4
updatefac 0.1
finalmu 1e-6
$offecho

Note that the initmu must not set too big.
